Curriculum vitae

Sandhya Manohar studied biology and mathematics at New York University. She conducted her PhD research with Randy King at Harvard University from 2015 to 2020, where she studied mechanisms of cell cycle regulation by the Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C). In 2021, she joined the lab of Gabriel Neurohr at ETH Zürich to study the relationship between cell size and cell cycle control. Her postdoctoral work was supported by an ETH Fellowship and was awarded the public prize in the Life Sciences Switzerland PIs of Tomorrow competition. In 2024, she was awarded an SNSF Ambizione career grant to start her group at the Department of Molecular Mechanisms of Disease.
