31.05.2016Prof. Dr. Raffaella Santoro elected as new EMBO member

On May 23, the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) has announced the election of Raffaella Santoro, group leader at the DMMD, as a new member. She is one of 58 newly appointed "leading life scientists". New EMBO Members are elected annually in recognition of their contributions to scientific excellence. Their selection is a tribute to their research and achievements. 

EMBO Director Maria Leptin comments in the EMBO release: “I am delighted by the addition of 58 outstanding scientists to our membership. I would like to congratulate them and welcome them to the EMBO community. By serving the principles of excellence and integrity through their views and actions, they make invaluable contributions to science and society.”
